WAC was founded in 1984. One of their earliest advancements was more than two decades ago when WAC created breakthroughs in low-voltage halogen track lighting and recessed lighting. They've also designed a large range of pendant lights and fixtures that work within a variety of mounting types.
The company is now in its second generation of being an owner-operated company, and its primary focus is to elevate the industry in design and manufacturing. They do this by challenging the norm and focusing on creating sustainable products responsibly.
Their work with low-voltage halogen lights was not their only technological contribution to the lighting field. As a company, they continue to develop their own technologies to optimize lighting and reduce the environmental footprint from their company by having a large manufacturing campus that is a zero-landfill facility. Yes, they actually do get work done here without needing to fill a landfill: about 90% of their products are fabricated to a component level within this campus and their USA facilities.
Many of the designers for WAC Lighting are their own in-house designers, which is vital for creating designs that fit into the company’s vision for beautiful and practical lights. Both of these designers along with WAC’s other designers are perfectly geared and suited to create modern, practical light fixtures that showcase the company’s signature styles.
